Design
The overall design of the Levoit Cordless 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Cleaner is simple and lightweight, but like all stick vacuums, top heavy. This stick vacuum weighs only 8.3 pounds, making it fairly easy to maneuver around corners and small spaces. The handle is ergonomically designed with a comfortable grip and the power button is just a thumb switch away. The power button allows for two settings; hard floor and carpet.
When using as a hand held, it weighs only 3 pounds and is easy to carry. It easily detaches from the stick to attach one of the included brushes or nozzles.
Ease of Use
The Levoit Cordless 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Cleaner is not only lightweight but it has simple swivel steering. This makes movement around corners and into tight spots easy but at times may feel too loose. Combined with the light weight design and loose swivel, this took some getting used to around corners.
When vacuuming is done you can simple empty the canister with the flick of a button. Obviously these canisters hold a lot less than traditional vacuums so you may have to empty it more than once during a vacuuming session.
Cleaning Performance
The Levoit Cordless 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Cleaner features 1.5 psi suction, that is said to be strong enough to capture dust, pet hair, and food crumbs on both hard floors and carpets. I did find it to be effective on small and light particles, on the bare hard floor, but heavier pieces did not seem to make it up to the stick for collection. Specifically, cat litter was too heavy to get up to the dust bin until I put it on carpet mode and went over it several times.
On carpet this vacuum seemed to struggle at picking up anything not on the surface. On shorter rugs it did okay with surface dirt, but the thicker carpet slowed the roller down and didn’t seem as clean as when a traditional vacuum is used.
The roller brush head is equipped with an LED light to brighten dark corners and spaces underneath furniture to help see hidden debris. This I found very helpful in closets and pantry areas where there is no light at all. The light is very bright and even helps in broad day light.
The unique anti-clogging design of the brush will prevent hair entanglement, making it easier to use and clean. I did check the roller after several uses and did not see anything wrapped around the roller brush yet, but time will tell.
Battery Life
The Levoit Cordless 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Cleaner is equipped with a DC 22.2 volt battery that needs to be charged after each use. This vacuum can run for up to 40 minutes when fully charged and on the hard floor setting. When combined with the hard floor and carpet setting I found the battery to last about 30 minutes.
The battery is fully charged when all 5 lights are lit up on the handle. When one light begins blinking, it is time to recharge your vacuum. The battery did indicate it was full after about 4 hours of charging.
Accessories
Levoit Cordless 2-in-1 Stick Vacuum Cleaner comes with several attachments to help tackle every surface and crevice. The vacuum body can be detached from the stick and roller brush to use for handheld cleaning. This was a quick and convenient switch to vacuum stairs, outdoor rugs and the car interior.
There is a crevice nozzle that can reach into cracks and corners and the 2 in 1 brush head that extends for cleaning flat surfaces such as tables and chairs, or even cloth surfaces like car interiors. Both of these tools did their job when tested but for better suction should be used on the carpet setting.
This vacuum can also be hung on the included wall-mount or taken apart for self-standing, compact storage.

Weight and Size
Levoit Cordless 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Cleaner weighs 8.3 pounds. It measures 10.4 inches at the widest point which is the vacuum head, and stands 30.3 inches in height.
The canister or dust bin holds 2.1 cups of dust and debris. I did find myself having to empty this at least twice during my vacuum sessions.
Maintenance
Cleaning the dust bin or canister is very simple once it is empty and is recommended every 2 to 3 uses. Just one button will allow a door to open and empty the debris from the bin, but if a thorough cleaning is needed it pops out by pulling it outward, away from the handle. Inside is a filter that can be rinsed with water and dried monthly.
The brush roller may need cleaning on occasion and can be done with the use of a coin. Just insert a coin into the brush lock and pop the roller out. Anything like hair or sting can be carefully removed using scissors.
Conclusion
I really like the ease of using the Levoit 2 in 1 cordless stick vacuum cleaner, especially on my hardwood floors. It was just as simple as pulling out the broom but quicker and more efficient. However, I would not recommend it for rugs and carpets as a whole. It works okay at sucking up the surface dirt, but it doesn’t get deep down, especially on thicker carpet and rugs. I will continue to use this vacuum for my hard floors and for cleaning the car and patio chairs as a hand held. It is a great addition to your cleaning routine if you have a lot of hard floors like I do.
